A Rahman

Rahman has had a fascination in the motor industry from an early age; his interest for cars was further established after a two weeks work experience at a local garage. After Rahman embarked on his apprenticeship at Ford Motor Company, to gain his NVQ in motor vehicle maintenance repair and service.

He went onto study vehicle maintenance at a specialist institute, were he received the highest of accolades.

In order to start a career within the motor industry, Rahman approached and successfully gained a position at Hi-Q.
The management at Hi-Q an international motor maintenance company, recognised at an early stage Rahman’s potential, and after just six months made him a branch manager.

After working for Hi-Q for five years, and successfully managing the team at the Hi-Q East Ham Branch.
Rahman decided to pursue his dream of opening his own business.

Rahman along with his long term family friend Ali, both shared the dream of opening a garage. After years of discussions the two friends decided to open their first garage in 2007, and so the Duo Motor dream was created.

S Ali

Ali an expert mechanic, boasting over 14 years experience. Ali started to get an interest in mechanics, after he was sent to the local police motor vehicle repair workshop for his 2 weeks work experience.

His enthusiasms for mechanics lead him to study motor vehicle technology at college, and gain his formal City and Guilds qualification. Whilst at college Ali gained further skills and knowledge about the workings of cars, as a result of his two day a week practical hands on work experience at a garage.

Although he is a little older now, the passion for mechanics is forever growing. Ali really loves his job, and this is apparent from his work. No car has ever left his hands without being perfect and thoroughly checked.
